Believe it or not a door had sentimental value!
We were giving my childhood home a much needed renovation and one of the items that desperately screamed out for updating was the front door. It seemed a shame to throw it out. Not only was it hand made by my father but, it was uniquely large and solid wood. I wanted my father to somehow have a contribution in my new home, as he had passed away, so I turned the door into our dining room table. From this, a passion was born. Soon noticed by my wife who frequents Pinterest. Everyday we looked at new innovations people had and she asked can I do that? Of course, I said yes. The Urban Whittler was born!
